Morgan’s fall senior session at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh was such a fun evening. Fall sessions during senior year are always some of my favorites as a Raleigh senior photographer, and Morgan’s shoot was the perfect example of why. I always recommend taking senior photos in the fall semester of your senior year if you can. That way you have your photos ready to use for the entire senior season from announcements to graduation celebrations and everything in between. And this night could not have been more perfect!

A Beautiful Evening at JC Raulston Arboretum

The weather was amazing, and the golden hour light that evening was absolutely beautiful. The JC Raulston Arboretum is one of my favorite locations as a Raleigh senior photographer because there are so many different spots that photograph beautifully.

Morgan’s smile was completely contagious, and she made the entire session so easy and fun. From the moment we started shooting, she was so natural in front of the camera and brought such great energy to the whole evening.

Three Perfect Outfits

Morgan brought three outfits for her senior session, which gave us such a great variety of looks throughout the evening. She started with a short white dress then changed into a casual outfit with jeans and a yellow top, which was perfect for a more relaxed look. To finish the session, she wore a gorgeous long blue dress that photographed beautifully during golden hour. Each outfit gave the photos a completely different feel, and it made the final gallery so fun and dynamic.

Celebrating Morgan’s Senior Year

Morgan will be graduating in Spring 2026, and she’ll be heading out west to attend CU Boulder this fall. It’s always so exciting getting to capture this season of life right before such a big new chapter begins. Morgan, it was such a joy getting to photograph you.
